[Kaoru was admittedly a little glad that he was learning a bit more about commoner living. After all, he didn't earn much and he had no idea when he could get to a point where he could live comfortably with the money he did have.

So he had decided to attempt to cook after at least learning one recipe. What Kaoru didn't realise was you don't leave things that can catch on fire on a stove. So when the other was to return would find Kaoru panicking and simply attempting to put it out with a towel he had grabbed.]
